Towards a united struggle against supremacy,

anti-immigration, racism and misogyny!

As a result of the spread and expansion of neoliberal policies and the globalization intended and implemented  by the imperialist powers, the forces of the extreme right are strengthened, growing and are spreading all over the world. What manifests the extreme right forces in the US and Europe is the white supremacy and at top of that is the white men. It is on such bases that non-white immigrants and asylum seekers are subjected to racist attacks. Refugee camps are set on fire and migrant and refugee women "deserve" rape and sexual harassment. However, the risk of the growth and spread of racism and anti-immigration is not limited to western imperialist countries but under the domination of the ruling imperialist racist policies, the brutal reactionary governments in Asia, Africa and Latin America; racism is justified and practiced against immigrants and minorities in more brutal, ruthless and extreme ways than before.

Now we want to draw your attention to a corner of the world where racism and anti-immigrants are rampant: Iran!

In this country and with the 45-years rule of the Islamic Republic regime, the same far-right fascist policies in the West namely supremacy, reactionary nationalism, misogyny, and anti-immigrants, are taking extreme forms The Iranian regime, like the western governments, blames the economic situation, the increase in the cost of living, the lack of housing, the increase in crime, on the immigrants, who are mostly from Afghanistan, and by launching an anti-Afghan campaign provide the basis for humiliation, harassing, beating and even killing the migrants. In the last year or so the number of attacks on Afghan migrants and their homes has hugely increased. Insulting and humiliating, ignoring and harassing... are part of the daily diet of Afghan immigrants. In the meantime, Afghan immigrant women, in a country with a totally anti-women regime, are subjected to more brutal oppression both because of being women and because of their nationality.

The Islamic regime in Iran, like Western governments, hides from the people the fact that unemployment and the spread of poverty are fundamentally one of the diseases and necessities of capitalist societies in Iran and around the world. It is based on this cover-up that they can influence the some ignorant people so that they blame their unemployment, poverty and their misery on refugees and not on capitalism.

We call on you, the people, activists, womenʼs organizations and progressive forces: Let’s carry out a united struggle against racism, anti-immigration and male supremacy that is dangerously spreading and expanding every day.

We believe that anti-Afghan campaign in Iran is not separate from anti-migrants in the West. The Afghan immigrant who dies under the punches and kicks of the reactionary forces of the Iranian regime or reckless and uninformed part of the people, cannot be separated from the immigrants and asylum seekers in the West who are insulted and humiliated or might be killed due to the attacks of the extreme right.

We can and should fight unitedly against racism, supremacy, anti-immigration and misogyny. We can organize a long-term joint struggle and actively prevent the spread of the fascist ideology of supremacy.
