Smash the gallows-tree of the reactionary anti-women Islamic regime of Iran:

Zeinab and Sakineh are the victims of a system in which to be a woman is potentially a crime.

Recent reports indicate that new waves of executions are on the way in Iran. Among the cases now coming to light is that of a young woman, Zeinab Jalalian, accused of being a member of a Kurdish opposition group, who is on death row awaiting hanging, and Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, accused of adultery by the Islamic injustice system without any substantial evidence. The fact is that Zeinab and Sakineh are the victims of a system in which being a woman is potentially a crime.

The Islamic Republic made women the slaves of the slaves from the very beginning when it seized power. For the ۳۱ years since then the religious regime has legalized the torture, rape and execution of women. The open suppression of women is a lever in the hand of the Islamic Republic for the control of the society and the subordination of the people. 

There is no doubt that the widespread presence and the active role of women and in particular young women in the forefront of the struggle against the Islamic regime in the recent uprising of the people has outraged the reactionary regime. Now the regime is determined to take revenge in any way possible. The rampant violence of the male chauvinist and patriarchal system of the Islamic Republic against women is meant to consolidate the subjugation of women. This is the reason that this anti-women system cannot be reformed. The only way to liberate women from systematic state and domestic violence is to overthrow the system whose pillars rest on the enslavement and subjugation of women.

The criminal system of the Islamic Republic wants to prevent its inevitable death by expanding the dimensions of suppression. By increasing the number of executions, they want to terrify those people who throughout the last year clearly cried out their decisive opposition to the Islamic Regime of Iran, in the streets, in schools and universities and in the medieval and horrifying prisons.

Today all freedom-loving and progressive people of the world as well as the Iranian people and all those who conscience is awake should feel the need to act in the face of the Islamic Republic's crimes that are increasingly taking a disastrous dimension. The Islamic regime's chains of violence and suppression should be smashed as soon as possible. We should act immediately to prevent the execution of Zeinab and Sakineh and hundreds of political prisoners. The lives of hundreds are in danger. We should be able to stop the killings of every single of them by organizing our protests.       

Surely the channels of the numerous and conscious struggles of all the progressive and freedom-loving peoples for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic and the building a society without suppression, violence, torture and execution should join together.
